Paradise Valley is a town of estate-sized properties, where a special use permit requires all homes to be built on at least one acre of land. The terrain includes hillside lots against Camelback Mountain, Mummy Mountain, and the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, with many properties featuring significant grade changes and rocky outcroppings. Lot sizes and the custom nature of homes here mean outdoor spaces are designed from scratch rather than adapted from a builder template. Neighborhoods like Clearwater Hills, Cheney Estates, Judson Estates, and Camelback Country Estates each have distinct site conditions that shape how outdoor water features, pool decks, and hardscape are planned and built.

Hardscape & Water Feature Contractor
Paradise Valley's hillside lots in communities like Clearwater Hills and La Place Du Sommet present grade changes and rocky terrain that most contractors treat as obstacles. We treat them as design assets. Natural and faux rock waterfalls built into a sloped lot look like they belong there, and the elevation difference creates the water drop needed for a feature that sounds and looks right.
Many Paradise Valley estates were built between the 1970s and 1990s, and the pools on these properties often have aging plaster, outdated coping, and deck surfaces that no longer match the quality of the home. Pool repair and refurbishment on these properties goes beyond cosmetic work. We address the shell, the deck, and the surrounding hardscape together so the finished result is cohesive.
Outdoor kitchens, BBQ areas, and outdoor fireplaces on Paradise Valley properties need to be built at a scale that fits the lot and the home. A small prefab kitchen looks out of place on a two-acre estate with a resort-style pool. We design and build outdoor structures that are proportional to the property and finished to a standard that matches the surrounding architecture.
At a glance
Waterfalls and water features are a defining element of Paradise Valley outdoor spaces, where estate lots give homeowners the room to build features at a scale that matches the property. Grottos are a natural fit for hillside lots against Camelback Mountain and Mummy Mountain, where the terrain already provides the elevation and rock backdrop that makes a grotto feel authentic. Pool repair and refurbishment are relevant here because many Paradise Valley estates were built in the 1980s and 1990s, and pools from that era need structural and surface updates to match the quality of the surrounding property. Outdoor fireplaces and kitchens complete the outdoor living picture on large covered patios where the mild winter climate makes year-round use practical.

Common questions from Paradise Valley, AZ customers about our services, process, and coverage.
Yes. Sloped lots are actually well-suited to grottos because the grade provides the elevation needed for a natural-looking water drop. We design grottos that work with the existing terrain rather than requiring significant regrading.
Full replacement is rarely necessary. Most pools from that era can be refurbished with new plaster or pebble surfaces, updated coping, and a resurfaced deck. We assess the shell condition first to determine what the pool actually needs.
Outdoor fireplaces on Paradise Valley properties typically work best when they match the architectural style of the home, whether that is contemporary, Southwestern, or Mediterranean. We build custom fireplace structures rather than using prefab units, so the finished piece fits the scale and style of the surrounding space.
Yes. We work in gated communities throughout Paradise Valley. Access coordination is handled before the project begins so there are no delays once work starts.
